Your Cycling Training Diary
Bunch Rides is an online cycling training diary and bike ride organiser that understands that no matter what your training for, be it a sportive, the race season or just to lose some weight, you cycle on your own as well as with friends.
Cycling is both a social and solo activity. When you’re training for a sportive or for racing you will inevitably be hitting the turbo or doing a lone interval session. However you’ll also want to keep sane by riding with friends whether on a coffee run or busting a gut in the local chain-gang or pace-line.
Most training services on the web focus on just recording what you have done and leave the organisation up to you. Our training diary is different in that it allows you to plan and record both solo sessions and group rides simply and easily.
Ride Organisation
At the heart of Bunch Rides is a social ride organisation system that you can use to easily plan and organise your bike rides. You create rides that you can share with your friends via email or the major social networks. Unlike a generic event service like Facebook or Meetup it has many features specific to cycling.
Route File Uploads
Upload the planned route in .tcx, .gpx or .fit formats and render the map so other people can easily see what’s planned as well as download it to their Garmin or other device.
Distance and Duration
Share your distance and duration goals to give people an idea of the pace. There’s nothing worse than hanging on the back for dear life or getting cold waiting on the top of hills if you end up with a bunch of mixed abilities.
Your Online Training Diary
Creating or joining a ride on Bunch automatically creates a training record in your personal online training diary. You can then record how it went either manually or by uploading your training device file for your personal record.
Not only that, you can also plan and record your personal sessions be it turbo, core, off-road or races.
